"Frida" is a drawing inspired by a Halloween costume I wore a few years back. I was going for Frida Kahlo in a Dia de los Muertos vibe. I adore Frida as an artist and as a human. And Dia de los Muertos is one of my favorite holidays, not only for its riot of colors, textures and beauty, but also for the wonderful Mexican tradition of honoring the dead.
